In September 2019, I quit my full-time job to become a digital nomad, setting out with 30 other remote workers with the goal of building new friendships, growing my own digital agency, Drizzle Digital, and experiencing the world in new ways. There was no way I could have predicted what that year would hold.
We’re three years out from when I got stuck on a 2-mile-wide island in the Gulf of Thailand at the start of the pandemic — almost four from when I went all-in on Drizzle Digital. We’ve got employees working together from four (sometimes five!) time zones, a set of clients that we adore, a recently re-launched brand that delights us, and a whole lot of growth coming our way. The future is bright, and I’m so proud of our journey.
